More than 75 research papers will be discussed in the first global conference of communication technology and social change.
His Royal Highness Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh will sponsor the 1st International Conference for Communication Technologies and Social Change which organized by the Media Department at the College of Arts – King Saud University from 15 – 17 March 2009 at KSU Hamad Aljaser Hall.
At the beginning of my speech, I would like to warmly welcome the participants in the Communication Technologies and Social Change Conference, which is organized by the Media Department at the College of Arts at King Saud University including faculty members, experts, media men, technicians and academics in order to keep pace with the international media and technological changes. The organization of this conference comes in line with the increasing attention being paid to technology and media in view of the great role they play in our life as two of the most important pillars of sustainable development. 
Dr. Fahd Alklaibi, Dean of the College of Arts at King Saud University and Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the activities of the 1st Communication Technologies and Social Change Conference organized by the Media Department at KSU next month emphasized that preparations for the conference are going according to plan. He stressed that the various conference committees are holding continuous meetings and discussions in order to implement the plans that would make the conference, which is the first of its kind in the region, successful.Latest News
